Pushing Through in 2020

Like many businesses, 2020 has been challenging at XPROMOS. Several project were put on hold and then cancelled as the pandemic worsened and spread. While many clients in the Spring were adjusting to remote work and all the uncertainties of life, (hello, Zoom School), we were fortunate enough to already be veterans of long distance collaboration (and existing users of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Go To Meeting, and others). 

Pivoting and Producing

As our clients adjusted to the new reality, we pivoted. We wanted to help fellow small business owners. We wanted to give them hope. We wanted to show them how to make the most of their own skills. So we doubled down on creating and sharing free resources based on our 30+ years of experience.

We did YouTube videos and podcast episodes, sharing our own stories of major pivots (in the last 30 years) to inspire hope. And we even called on our colleagues to do the same.

We did two full weeks of live training on how to sell to retail stores, in conjunction with a rockstar colleague.

We followed that up with a live, hands-on group workshop.

We created a “Pivot your Business” course and wrote a book in the Pivot Mindset, because that’s where people were struggling. 

We built a USP Masterclass when we saw how businesses were investing in marketing solutions without a clear strategy.

Then, we filled another gap in the market with a LIVE 6-week ABM Made Simple workshop.

And we built a product offering designed to engage new enterprise-level clients. It’s a reasonably price project that fills a real need in B2B market.

Version One is better than Version None

2020 has been a great year to learn and test new ideas. Thanks to the time we spent on training and mentors, we’ve been able to keep moving forward. It has strengthen our entire business, as we uncover crossover opportunities between enterprise and small business.

Closing the year strong

Business has been non-stop in Q4.  Existing clients have come back alive. New clients are trying us out with the new product offering.

Clients are happy and satisfied.

And, we are spreading the word of our digital products through new partnerships.
