A former agency account/creative team who started their own shop once they realized how well they worked together.  Thirty years and counting.

Shari Nomady is the President and co-founder of XPROMOS with responsibility for client development and client service.

The agency was founded in 1989 and the impressive client list includes agency of record status with Mattel Toys for 11 years.  During that 11 years XPROMOS consistently increased Barbie sales 20% year after year.  Nomady lead the team and negotiated the 3 term MLS contract for Makita Tools and 2 term contract Glidden Paints.  The marketing activation programs to support the sponsorships increased sales and opened new accounts for these clients.

Nomady’s relentless dedication to client service keeps clients coming back.  An agency study showed that clients were impressed with the level of attention received from X! Promos.

Prior to co-founding XPROMOS Nomady was the Marketing Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation where she was responsible for communicating the Corporate campaigns into the individual hotels’ local marketing efforts.  Nomady was part of the 2 year research team that built the Hyatt Gold Passport Program.  Nomady also developed the Hyatt Hotels Resorts Campaign that launched Hyatt as a Resort destination.

Prior to her work with Hyatt she was the Advertising Manager at Beecham Cosmetics where she worked at their in-house agency on all six brands:  Jovan, Yardley of London, Lancaster, Hermes and Vitabath.

Shari has been active in her community while raising three daughters she has served as President of the Olympic Gymnastics Booster Club, and a club soccer  President at United FC.  She has also been active with the Team and Training Organization as a mentor to the Triathlon team after running marathons with them.  This lead her to giving Ironman a try and becoming a 3 time Ironman.

Yvette Brown is a co-founder and  in charge of Ideas at XPROMOS.

Her ability to disseminate information, find the X! Factor, and apply it to client needs has earned her two Reggie Awards and  30 years of satisfied clients.

A self-proclaimed “early adopter”, Yvette consistently looks to apply new technologies to promotional concepts, which keeps XPROMOS at the forefront of innovative ideas.

From creating the first on-line talent contest on AOL, to driving millions of dollars of client revenue by integrating paint products into new stadium builds, and leveraging cutting edge text-to-win programs to reach contractors, Yvette prides herself on developing programs that simply work harder.

Yvette is a voracious consumer of information, gathering “random tidbits” from a broad spectrum of industries, lifestyles, and sub-cultures, with special attention given to new technology and global trends.

When not at work, Yvette is with the love of her life, her young daughter.  Together they travel, do crafts and games, shop, watch So Cal sports (go Anaheim Ducks and Angels), and get outside at the playground, beach or park.  Yvette’s diverse interests and willingness to try (and fail) at  new things have helped her form a unique skillset which includes knitting and cake decorating, technology troubleshooting, crockpot cooking, travel planning, and home appliance repair.  She also owns an impressive sports memorabilia collection and manages a pretty decent Fantasy Football team.
